Yooooo
On this page it's telling me to write a bunch of yippity yap about me and what I do. I'm going to try but let's be honest fam, imposter syndrome amirite? This is weird and I won't gaslight you that it's not.

Basically, I grew up sewing, crafting, gardening, and having grand adventures with my grandma in the sticks of New Hampshire. We didn't have plumbing until I was 2. We hunted all our meat. My grandma grew and canned our food in a - I shit you not- dug out cellar underneath our house that I was forbidden to go into. I learned how to color and express myself then. I learned to sew on a treadle Singer. Grandma crocheted Barbie clothes and is featured in a magazine. I ran the woods and read the Sears catalog. I entered a coloring contest at the toy store and won a Care Bear Cousin (Lotsa Heart Elephant) when I was 5.

But like all awesome Disney-esque stories it came to an end when she died.

I am wired from conception to create. Colors, textures, weights of materials, various mediums; everything is taken into consideration when I design any piece from the tiniest cat collar to the biggest quilt or bag. A feature of my autism is visual and tactile uniformity. The running joke in our house is me eyeballing something and then someone using a level to see how close I am to center (spoiler - it's almost always dead center).
Since I'm a fickle creature like the lot of us, I cannot mass produce anything that is identical. No two will be exactly the same. Every piece gets touched and inspected throughout the entire making process. I am particular for no other reason that I can't not be. Style, functionality, design, color, texture; everything gets taken into account for every thing I make.

As a former gifted student, I hold myself to a high standard that you will see come through in my work. If I wouldn't use it myself, I won't sell it. If something does slip past my methodical construction, I work hard to make it better than right.

and as always,
